Well a big Welcome to all my new blog followers!! Most of you I know personally or one way another and if I don't know you then welcome to my world!! So I have been told by many for many months now, that I should start a blog and talk about my adventures about being a MUA(Makeup Artist) and a Mommy. Now that my boys are a little older and I have few spare seconds in my day, I think its time.
Makeup has always been my passion and my creativity, but when I became a mommy I decided to slow my career down so I could take the opportunity to be a stay at home mommy. Although I am grateful that I am able to do so, I missed my craft terribly. So recently I have decided to step back into the makeup world FULL FORCE! All while still being a stay at home mommy and raising my boys. Yes it gets tiring and chaotic at times, but I have a wonderful husband who helps out tremendously and we make it work!
I think one of the biggest flaws we do as mommies is we tend to forget about ourselves. We focus so much on our beautiful little babies that we forget about our own existence. Well I'm here to say, "STOP AND THINK ABOUT YOURSELF!" No one will frown upon you for it, you will NOT be labeled a bad mommy!! We as mommies need to take that time to "GET PRETTY" and I'm not saying Lashes and cocktail dresses on an everyday basis. But take care of our skin (you only get one! this includes your lips!), proper brow care (it frames your faces ladies and is instant face changer!), and what I like to call a quick everyday mommy look. So we will look refreshed and feel beautiful! Because we're mom's and we ARE Beautiful so why not enhance your beauty and feel that way?!
So here's what this blog will do. Give you tips and tricks for the everyday mommy/gal(can't forget about my sexy single ladies), Product review on Professional Quality products that won't break the bank, but still make you feel spoiled ;) Finally, a chance to get a look into my life as a Mommy making a name for myself in the world of Makeup... The Makeup Artist Mama!
